Quest Graphics Design feels that the world wide web is the most important tool that can be utilized to accomplish this goal.

Your message becomes available online the moment that you put your information on the web. People around the world at any time (day or night) can access your message. The benefit to you is that you can market your product at a much lower rate than traditional advertising may cost you. Anyone that has a product that they want to market has to use this wonderful media that is fast replacing other methods of traditional communication and marketing.

What's the cost involved?

Truthfully, cost can vary dependent on needs. The following is a general guideline that will assist you in calculating a reasonable base cost. All custom design work is estimated prior to initiation of a project. For most projects a 50% deposit of the estimate is required, with the balance due on completion. Many clients prefer to be billed on an hourly basis rather than a per page/piece basis. This method usually results in a cost lest than the original estimate, but sometimes is higher in rare cases. My standard hourly rate is $50.00 per hour.

Web Page Design

$75.00 per page, base price. The price includes two (2) scans per page with each additional scan costing $15.00. Scanning price includes any color correction and touch-up needed of the scanned image. The web page price includes unlimited lines of client supplied text. Minor touch-ups or alterations are included. Buttons, icons, backgrounds from my image libraries are included if needed. Any custom graphic work is separate and will be charged according to any difficulty or complexity of the image requested. Tables used for page layout are included, but any complex table work, java scripting, or frames will incur additional cost.

Banner Graphics

$50.00 to $150.00 per banner, depending on it's complexity, and whether a static or animated graphic. The banner graphic is the graphic at the top of the web page or a banner used in banner ads.

Image Maps

$75.00 - $300.00 depending on complexity. The image map that will allow the web-site user to click on a particular image to navigate your site. Mouseover java-scripting available, however it not only increases the complexity of the imaging but also adds to the cost of the site. Mouseover scripting is easier for site navigation.

Company Logos

$400.00 and up for static imagery. A logo to be used specifically on a website, supplied at 300 dpi in PSD format. If you are requesting an interfaced logo with mouseovers contained within estimates begin at $750.00 and up.

Buttons and Horizontal Rules

Buttons are designed specifically for use with the site sets. If mousovers are being utilized, then the price of the buttonage is included in the cost. If you request individual buttons, a base price of $10.00 per button is accessed, then for each text change on the original base button add $2.50. For example, buttons for Home, Email, and Links with the same design would be $17.50. Pre-designed sets may be purchased from sets already available at market price. Exclusive use costs apply.

Search Engine and Catalog Submission

$2.00 per page per each submission. Generally I refer the client to specific websites to utilize submission tools that are available directly from those sites. Years ago, submission to search engines such as Yahoo and Lycos were free. They no longer are. By utilizing a search engine submission program or company specializing in submissions will range in cost from $50 to $250 in most cases, which is not included in the base cost of an estimate unless requested.
